Welcome to Bickleigh-on-Exe Church of England Primary School

France Residential Update:  The group travelled to Mont St Michel today and succesfully climbed up the steps to the monastery.  After our tour we then travelled back to Omaha and visited the American war cemetery and the children had to go through a security check. As a result they were told that the French had given this land to America and the children were now on American soil.  The children will most probably tell their parents they have been to America.  The children are now having a quiz which they are enjoying.

We are a rural Church of England Primary School situated in the historic village of Bickleigh, in the Exe Valley. We benefit from strong links with the local community and St Mary’s Church. The school offers a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged 5 to 11 to learn, grow and play.

At Bickleigh-on-Exe C of E Primary School, we work hard for the children and with the children to deliver a rich curriculum of which we are very proud. This includes opportunities to learn outdoors and take part in a variety of musical and sporting activities throughout the year. We offer residential trips for every child from Year 3 to Year 6. All children have the opportunity to take part in after school activities led by the school’s staff and outside professionals throughout the week. We are also delighted to offer a thriving Breakfast and After School Club to our pupils.

Bickleigh Pre-school, which is based on the school site, works alongside our EYFS team to ensure a smooth transition to Reception. For further information about the Pre-school, please visit their website.

If you would like to learn more about what we have to offer, please contact the school to arrange a visit.
